Star Coin 1

You can't miss the first Star Coin, though you'll need to jump on aCheep Cheepto get it. Don't stand still too long while waiting for the Cheep Cheep, because the barrel you're on will sink into the water. Just keep jumping periodically until it gets to the right place.

Star Coin 2

Right after the checkpoint flag, there is a pipe at the top of the screen with a Piranha Plant coming out of it. Wall jump to get on top of it and grab the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3

Later in the level, right before the second golden ring, there are three barrels. The last Star Coin is under the third, so stand on it and grab the coin when it starts to sink. Make sure to leap back up as soon as you've nabbed it as otherwise you'll disappear off the bottom of the screen and lose a life.

Star Coin 1

The first Star Coin can be seen shortly after you start swimming. It's in a whirlpool at the bottom of the screen. Just wait until the current has subsided before swimming down to grab the coin and heading quickly back up again.

Star Coin 2

Later, there is an area with two sets of water currents going down and a yellow pipe in between. Enter the pipe, and you'll see lots of green blocks moving around, with the Star Coin in the middle. The small Cheep Chomp will follow you around, though it's easily disposed of if you have a Fire Flower.

Star Coin 3

The last Star Coin is right in your way. Avoid the chasing Cheep Chomps as well as the Urchins, and you should have no trouble picking it up.

Star Coin 1

A little way into the level, you'll see some spider webs over an invisible platform. Use them to get to the! switch and jump up to it. A line of red blocks will appear over the swamp, allowing you to enter the yellow pipe to the left. Inside, hit the middle of the three blocks to reveal a P-Switch. Push it and head left, waiting for the spider to reach its lowest point before bouncing on its head and grabbing the Star Coin.

Star Coin 2

After the checkpoint, you can use a web and a spider to jump to a yellow pipe in the upper right of the screen. As with the first Star Coin, you have to push a switch and grab the coin before time runs out, using the spider to give you that extra boost. It's easier withRaccoon Mario.

Star Coin 3

The last Star Coin is under a thin platform above the poisonous purple swamp water. Just make sure you don't stay on the webs too long, otherwise they'll disintegrate, sending you plunging into the goop.

Star Coin 1

Right at the beginning, there is a gap in the floor in the lower left corner. Avoid theFish Bones and swim down to the left.

Star Coin 2

You'll see the second Star Coin a little to your right as you swim upwards past the moving walls. Again, just be wary of the Fish Bones.

Star Coin 3

After avoiding the giant spikes, you'll see a set of four pipes shooting water into each other. Enter the green one on the top left and swim down to get the last Star Coin.

Star Coin 1

The first Star Coin is easy to find, and simple enough to get to - you just need to bounce on theWiggler

Star Coin 2

You'll have to be quick to get the second Star Coin. After you've jumped over several boxes, you will come to three boxes connected to each other. When the swamp water sinks, hurry to the right and onto the ledge to grab the coin. After you've got it, sprint back and position yourself on a box before the purple stuff rises to cover the thin platform.

Star Coin 3

Immediately after that, you will see two boxes in a lower part of the screen. Ride on the right-hand one and wait until the swamp tide is low. Then run to the right and wall-jump up to grab the last Star Coin. Again, you'll have to make sure you're on safe ground by the time the swamp water climbs.

WORLD 3-HAUNTED HOUSE

Star Coin 1

In the second area, there are several ghost lifts. If you ride the first one all the way, it will take you just below the first Star Coin. You'll either need to get theBooto move before you can take it, or waste your currently equipped power-up by jumping through both Boo and Coin. Be quick about it, though, because the lift will disappear.

Star Coin 2

In the same area you'll come to two doors. Take the one on top, and continue through this area. Go through the door into the room with the three ghost lifts. Take the middle lift and leap up to grab the second Star Coin when the platform is within reach.

Star Coin 3

The door to the right of the second Star Coin leads to the exit, so wait until the right-hand lift takes you close to thenextdoor to the right. Hop on the lift and follow it around - being mindful of the patrolling Boo - and leap up and across to get the final Star Coin when the lift is at its peak.

Star Coin 1

When you come to an area with rolling boulders, you'll see the first Star Coin is surrounded by seemingly unbreakable blocks. But continue on a little further and a boulder will come rolling towards you. Swim back and wait for the boulder to break the blocks for you.

Star Coin 2

The second Star Coin is close to where that boulder was, inside a yellow pipe. In this room, just swim under the pipes, avoiding theBloopers, and take the coin.

Star Coin 3

Later in the level, a giant boulder will roll toward you, breaking more blocks to open the way to the last Star Coin.

Star Coin 1

Progress through the level and you'll eventually see the first Star Coin being guarded by a saw blade trap to the left. There's an invisible block just underneath the platform with the coin, so hit that from underneath. That makes it easier to climb up and grab the coin while the saw is up and out of the way.

Star Coin 2

You'll see the second Star Coin in your path as you advance through the level. Just be careful to avoid theDry Bonesand buzz saw traps.

Star Coin 3

Go past the boss door to the far right corner, jumping to hit a hidden block against the far wall. Using that block, jump on top of the wall and enter the alcove where the final Star Coin lies.

Star Coin 1

After the largeCheep Cheeps the path will split in two. Stay near the top and you'll swim into the first Star Coin soon enough.

Star Coin 2

Then you'll enter an area that doesn't have any water currents. On the lower left after you come out of the pipe, there's a gap in the floor with a current flowing into it. Descend, then swim across to the right and push the? switch to stop the water flow. Swim down before the timer stops ticking - you should just about have enough time - and grab the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3

The last Star Coin is just floating in the water.But the currents are strong, and the number ofUrchinsaround make this more difficult than it looks. Make sure you're near the top of the pathway as you're carried forward, while ensuring you don't run into any Urchins, and you should be swept into it.

Star Coin 1

In this course, you can only get Star Coins by entering the red pipe. To get the first, you'll need to bounce off the first Paratroopa you find. Make sure to run and jump and guide Mario between the spikes for a safe landing. Use the small coins as a guide.

Star Coin 2

The second Star Coin is inside a small pipe near the top of the screen. You'll need to bounce off the Paratroopa to reach the platform. Enter the pipe, then keep jumping on the uppermost Bullet Bill all the way to the right, where the coin lies in wait. If you're more daring, you can leap between the top and bottom Bills to get more coins along the way.

Star Coin 3

The final coin is easy to see, but you'll need to be quick to wall-jump to it before it disappears off the left of the screen. Make sure you've got enough time to leap back over so you're not crushed by the wall. </div>
