The 10 Most Popular Recipes of 2022 (1)

As another year is coming to an end, I am sharing today my annual “10 Most Popular Recipes”, which I know a lot of you are always excited about!

It’s surely been a rolling-coaster-kind-of-year for us, as it started with a big move back home to Brittany, France. Settling into a new home, a new job and easing back into the French way of life (and heavy bureaucratic rules…) was both exhausting and enthralling ! Throughout this year of big changes and emotions, keeping up with this blog and sharing my recipes with you all has been my ancre, a source of stability, and a way to keep myself aligned with one of the things I love the most in life: cooking and sharing it with others. And I hope you enjoyed all these new recipes I worked on, tested, styled, photographed and shared on the blog with you this year.

I am also taking this chance to express a huge thank you to you all! Thank you for following along my cooking adventures and for always showing your support and kindness. I am very proud and humbled by the great community this little corner of the internet has become.

And now, here’s to the 10 Most Popular Recipes of 2022 (ranked by page traffic this year, as per Google Analytics).Let me know in the comments if you’ve made one (or several) of them, and which one is your favorite!

One cannot fail with your recipes, instructions easy to follow and end results that delivers. I have to mention one in particular that is so delicious and perfect I close my eyes with every bite to savor the taste, consistency etc. It’s the most delicious FLAN I have ever tasted, easy to prepare with ingredients on hand . Happy New Year.

So kind of you, Aline. This was absolutely my goal – to make French recipes as simple as they often are, despite the perception of it being difficult. May your New Year be amazing as well, and I hope you got to enjoy it with a slie of flan!

I made the boeuf bourguignon and the apple cake. Both were delicious. I have looked and looked for a BB that replicated my favorite restaurant and this was the closest. Because I have to watch my sugar intake, I reduced the sugar in the apple cake and, for me, it was perfect. My husband likes to sprinkle some powdered sugar on his pieces.

So happy to hear this, much appreciated. Everyone has their own little take on French recipes, so I’m glad this one stoked a wonderful memory for you. I am also so happy to hear that the Apple Cake turned out well even with a reduced amount of sugar. Enjoy!

Chelsey, oh how I love me some buckwheat chocolate chip cookies… And I can honestly say I just made some a few days ago, and they disappeared very quickly. I hope you and your family can continue enjoying these cookies, and hopefully some other recipes as well in the New Year. Take care and thanks again!

I have made the Chicken Tarragon dish about 4 times now and I absolutely love it. The sauce is so good. I’ve also made the French Potato Salad 4 times and love it every time.

I tried the Gruyere Cheese Sticks and failed miserably. When I started to twist the dough, all of the cheese fell out. I ended up throwing them away, unfortunately, because I was making Thanksgiving dinner and I had a lot of other work to do.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Sorry to hear about the cheese twists, and I wonder if slightly pressing the shredded gruyere onto the pastry before twisting would have helped. Many premade sheets are already “sticky” by nature which helps the cheese stick (and some falls off too which makes for a crispy bottom), but perhaps your sheet was well floured so the cheese didn’t stick? Just a guess!
