Asian Zing Sauce Recipe Details

Ingredients
- Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
- Chili-garlic sauce ( 1/4 cup)
- Sugar (1/3 cup)
- Corn syrup (1/2 cup)
- Rice wine vinegar (4 tablespoons)
- Cornstarch (2 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
- Ginger (1/4 tablespoon)
- Salt (1/4 tablespoon)
- Garlic (1/4 tablespoon)
Preparation
Step 1: First of all, combine rice wine vinegar & cornstarch together in a bowl or measuring cup. Mix it well.
Step 2: Take a small saucepan & combine all the other ingredients & mix it properly.
Step 3: Now, add the rice wine vinegar cornstarch mixture, and stir it well.
Step 4: Heat mixture on low/medium heat, stirring often until sauce reaches a boil and thickens.
Step 5: Now, add sauce (as much as is needed for the number of wings) to coat cooked chicken wings and toss. The sauce also makes an excellent dipping sauce for chicken fingers or for other crudities.
Note: If you think that the 4 tablespoons of cornstarch are too much. It may turn the sauce into a paste. Then I suggest, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in 4 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar.
